A male United Kingdom age 36-40, *enispump writes:

I have a problem here goes;

My current girlfriend and I have been in a relationship for four months but have known each other for around 6 months...this is her longest relationship, she is 18 I am 21 and have been in a long relationship before so 4 months isn't a great deal to me but it's a lot to her.

We are starting to have arguments and I'm beginning to wonder if she doesn't want to be with me because of the above??

Also she has met a new friend off the internet(male) and been spending a bit of time with this person at the local gymnasium. He likes her a lot, I know this due to comments I have seen on his friend's pages... his friends also are good friends with my girlfriend. Recently I saw a comment that he had sent to his friend saying "I told this girl I liked her" meaning my girlfriend, and supposedly my girlfriend said "you would have a chance when I am single". the WHEN bit of that is causing concern on my part...any ideas??

Be really grateful of a reply thanks a lot xx

Danielepew agony auntI doubt that her being in the relationship for four months is the reason for the arguments. There are other issues here. Those are the ones you need to deal with. Maybe the arguments do point to the fact that she wants out, but I simply don't think time is the problem.
