 You should not interfere with his current relationship; let it take its course. He or she may break off then is your chance to make your move.
Be prepared for disappointment also, he may not love you at all. I think if he did then he would have gone to you in the first place.
Is there no one else you like, a second choice? If he does love you and see's you with some one else he may get jealous and try and win you over.
