writes:theres this dude we'll call him lewis and we'll call the other shaun.lewis and i had a fling halloween nite,we didnt do enything just kissed and groped. then a few weeks later i seen him up my local well its OUR local.he always insists buying me drinks and always makes an effort to come an talk to me when were out and i end up kissing him and apparently he's got the hots for me but he's sleeping with a 40 year old woman whos a close freind to my mum,hes only 21.so i think ive got evert right to blank this dude as its clear he only wants one thing- SEX.however,i like shaun alot he's on the big side but he makes me laugh the problem is i only know him drunk and he only nows me drunk,im 18 and he's 21 he also goes to our local..i guess its kind of like a love triangl.me and shaun are texting,i got his number and i texted him first. lewis has been telling shaun ive been texting him when i havnt really..i wouldnt text him then text shaun thats not who i am.because i dont now shaun sober and he doesnt now me sober its going to be awfull weird when i bump into him up the local and especially cos we have been texting (just freindly) how should i react when i see him?? im awfull shy.what should i do about lewis..i will freely admitt i have lead the poor boy on and hes better looking than shaun but shaun makes me laugh and he seems more decent than lewis..and should i still accsept drinks of lewis??HELP xx

reader, anonymous, writes (4 January 2010): He doesn't sound like a 'poor boy' to me if he is sleeping with a 40 year old woman and he lied to Shaun about you texting him. He doesn't sound like the kind of guy you want to be with. You deserve better. If shaun really makes you happy then spend as much time with him as possible, whether you are just friends or more. Just calmly explain to lewis that you only want to be friends, as you really like shaun and you want to be with someone who really wants you, not someone who wants to do you.
