 Trimmed especially the ball area, those hairs tend to get pretty long and out of control..but not shaved because you don't want to knick the crown jewels.

 You could trim it down if it bothers you. Personally I think its masculine to have hair down there, and looks silly when a man is without hair. But if it's too much for your taste, just trim it shorter. 2-3 cm lenght should be enough. You don't want it long enough to braid it.

 Trim it to a suitable lenght. You don't want a forest there but you also don't want to shave it off completely. My BF does trims and it looks good ;)

Please trim at least. Better yet, shave it, including on the balls. I'm not saying that all girls don't like it, but generally I think the impression is not great, and it interferes with "fun activities". Girls don't like getting hair in their mouth when giving blow jobs. I don't mind my bf having pubic hair, but that's because I know him and am comfortable with him. If I was just starting to date someone, it would probably not give a great impression.
