 You should start hanging our with her at school and then proceed to hang out with her outside of school. Get to know her and after a while maybe flirt a little. If she flirts back you will know that she does like you even if it's only a little bit.
Maybe text each other when you're away from her - but also have some fun with playing hard to get. Don't obsessively text though 'cause she'll think you're clingy which is something nobody likes.
The one thing you don't wanna do is rush things before she really knows you. Let her get to know you well - interests, hobbies, music taste etc.
Then finally sit alone with her on the beach or in a park and ask her out and hope for the best.
Also, you might find something usefull on ehow.com. I would search for you but only you know what to search for.

 Why don't you just talk to her more and also get to knw her friends as well.Then you can ask her friends if she likes you and get close to her with her friends.That worked for me.
