writes: I haven't seen the lad I fancy for months and the next time I see him will be in a month. I want to impress him that I have changed, and look much nicer than I did before. So I have dyed my hair back to its original colour, which looks much better than before. I have ditched my glasses and worn contacts. But what else shall I do to get him to notice? I don't wear make up. Should I give tht a try?Second question - do boys notice little things or does it take a BIG change in a girl's appearance to get them to notice? Reply to this Question

 Well its sounds like your a really confident person with you new found changes, which is great. i think you should emphesize on what you have, maybe put your hair back with a nice clip,and maybe use some makeup around the eyes just so they stand out alot more, for example if i really want to show off my blue eyes i curl my lashes and put some mascara on and that looks great, less is better, keep it natural. maybe puchase yourself a new outfit to go great with that new hair due. But just remember its not all about looks , its important to feel good in the inside too :)

reader, anonymous, writes (26 May 2006): Hi there to me u sound very attractive anyway since you have gone back to yuor own colour .yes u could try out some natural makeup if u have never worn any before.You could look totally different with smokey eyes as such!!I think he will get a big shock when he sees you .i remember as before i tried out all clrs on my hair and looked different.if he dosent notice forget him hes not worth itt good luck

 Change is good for the soul but why did you feel you needed to change, personality is more important than looks but then looks are usually what gets you noticed in the first instance.
All men are different as are all women so some men notice a little change and others would not notice if you turned green and dyed your hair yellow.
What is most important is not what your fella thinks of the changes it is what you feel, do you now feel more confident in yourself and if so then great, do change for you and no one else.
Go for it and enjoy the new you, im sure he will too.
