A female United States age 30-35, anonymous writes:

So me and my bf have been broken up for a week. we have had a little contact. I miss him so much and I am deeply in love with him.

I dont want to sound naggy or clingy and i really dont want to beg him to get back together. So what should I do? He is one of those people that never gives in and maybe he is waiting for me to ask him. I dont know what to do but I know that I miss him and love him like crazy.

A female reader, pinktopaz United States +, writes (12 August 2009):

You win him back by doing absolutely nothing. I know that sounds completely opposite of what you "think" you should do, but that's the only way.

You're going to sound nagging or clingy if you call him and beg for him to take you back. People want what they can't have, and if he even thinks that you've moved on and that he can't have you is when he wants you back. So DO NOT call him, email him, text him...anything, no contact. If he does contact you, don't talk about the relationship, act nonchalant, don't jump into anything.

Also, please consider if you really want him back or if you also just want what you can't have. If he mistreated you then you should just try to move on.
