 Then they can get a divorce based on 2 yr seperation. If she hadn't consented, it would of been 5. When i got divorced 16 yrs ago, i did it myself through the court on the 2 yr seperation, and it cost 50 quid! Ah just noticed, You're in the states so i dont know how easy it is.

Me51588 is verified as being by the original poster of the question Someone asked me if he ran off with me or did his wife run off both of those are a no. He has been seperated from her for 2 years. We just got engaged and I knew he was married but not divorced yet. His ex or soon to be wants a divorce just as bad because she is also engaged to someone else. So thank you for your answers!!

You will have to wait until his divorce comes through because if you marry him while hes still married he will be commiting bigamy which means if he gets caught he could go to prison for a long time which means you will have to wait even longer to marry him. So its best to have patience and then when his divorce is finalised thats when you could go through with marrying him. I hope this information helps you good luck
