reader, anonymous, writes (7 August 2006): I'd say that if you want him to take a little more interest in you, lure him. Flirt with him a little. Make him see that you're a fun girl to be around and show him your interest in him. Just be patient and give him his time and space to figure out what he wants. In the meantime, have fun with it! He'll see what a great catch you are and want to get you all for himself. What he won't realize is that it's you who has caught him ;-). Seriously, though, have patience. All good things come with time. Even if you don't catch his attention, you might end up catching the attention of some other hottie sitting across the room watching the goings-on. You never know!
