A female Hong Kong age 30-35, anonymous writes:

I want to know what is the sign of an teacher-student affair.

If a student get poor result, and she wrote a sorry letter at the back of her exercise worksheet to that teacher saying that she should work harder later, then that teacher didn't gave her exercise back. Do you think he is into her? (embarrassed to give back the worksheet or want to keep that letter?)

Later he always care about her and asked her if she had anything she didn't understand. He always waited till she finished her exam paper before saying time up. (even the time passed)

One lesson, the teacher asked her what was the answer. But she didn't know how to calculate the answer and she was frustrated. She blushed.

Then that teacher waited for her. Later, he softly said never mind. That girl found that he blushed too.

What do you think about this? Do you think he is into her and was a bit embarrassed?

Before that girl graduate, she asked him to write something on her memory book. But after a year, he still not yet gave her back that book.

What to you think about their relationship?

Friend, if u ask me i'd just say i think they r good friends..probably even with a touch of appreciation toward the student but i dont think it goes much further than that.

lacrymosa_652 agony auntNothing you've said seems to indicate an affair to me. Maybe the teacher feels if she had to write a letter, maybe something's going on at home or something, so he's more easy going on her. I don't know why he wouldn't return the book though, it doesn't seem suspicious but just strange.. maybe he just forgot?

Why do you ask? Is this going on with you, or someone you know? There doesn't seem to be anything romantic about the situation though.
