writes:i went on a date yesterday with a lad i like, he was being really sweet and comforting with me, like putting his arm around me, hugging me, stuff like that but i still feel something for my ex and its annoyng as i want to forget about him, i just cant.. please have you got any advice or help?

I can say that as time goes by the feelings that you are encountering will lessen and get easier, time is a great healer. Sometimes it can help to get rid of old things that remind you of him, old photos, letters, etc, and delete his number and email to abolish temptation.

 My advice to you is enjoy this guy, and forget about your ex. I know it's hard, and I would love to say, keep hoping and wishing your ex will come back because that's how it works but it doesn't
And if you move on, your ex might come back to you faster
