hey there,

so I thought I started my period because I started to see a bit of blood but everytime I checked my pad or tampon or whatever it only had like a dot of blood so i switched to just using a pantyliner and i didn't see anymore blood.

then i started to get like a brownish discharge and then another spot of blood.. but now it has completely stopped. this was about over the span of 4 or 5 days.

now i'm experiencing sharp cramps, almost like someone is carving me every once in a while, i have to lay down to make it go away.

I'm pretty darn sure i'm not pregnant because when my boyfriend orgasms he doesn't ejaculate anything (he is sterile) it just freaks me out because everytime i time one or both of these symptoms into google i just find pregnancy things.

i haven't had sex with anyone else since i've known my boyfriend, so that's definetly not the case. just wanted to know what you guys think

thanks

Ugh, I have been in such bad pain I could barely get up to use my computer.. my period came.. but not like normal, I had about 4 or 5 REALLY large blood clots. (i'm assuming that's why I've been in so much pain) I also have iron deficiency anemia, I forgot to mention that.

It really freaked me out.. because I've had small clots in my period before but these were like bouncy-ball size (not perfectly round and all but you get the picture). I thought it was all fine and good because it started to stop but now it's started back up again with the intense cramps and the clotting. I'm in a serious amount of pain, and I had a migraine yesterday that was so intense that it made me consider jumping off the bridge to make it stop.

love-struckxo agony auntI had a period like this one. Except mine would be light, and then stop for a couple days and then come back for a couple more days.

It all depends on your body. If this keeps continuing, go to the doctor, and I would take a pregnancy test just to be safe.

Good luck

Well my dad also thought he was sterile...and well look at me, I'm here! So don't necessarily think that pregnancy is out of the question.

Are you under a lot of stress? This has happened to me before. I was traveling across the country, but after being up all night on red-eye flights and hurrying; trying not to miss flights and several other stressful situations, I was due to start my period. It started for about an hour similar to what you said and then completely stopped. Well then I stressed that I was pregnant. Then after that I went ahead and took a test. Result was negative and I was back home, so the stress was now relieved. A month later, I continued like normal.

Ever since I started having a cycle, I was ALWAYS regular, except this one time. So this could be a possibility for you. However, just for peace of mind, take a pregnancy test just in case.

That doesn't sound normal. If it continues, I'd go see your gyno.

Even though your boyfriend may be stertile, I would still take a pregnauncy test. A friend of mine, not a year ago, was dating a guy who was also stertile, and guess what she got pregnaunt by him. Even if its not that sounds like you still need to go to a doctor to get checked out, there may be something else going on. I used to do the spotting thing with dark blood, along with cramps so bad I couldn't move, it got to where I thought I would pass out, come to find out it was cyst bursting, and if this is the case the doctor will be able to give you something for it and find out the cause of it.
