 Unless you render him unconscious and all make merry with his body, what you're describing is a threesome - NOT swapping. I think he'll be just a wee bit upset to discover that his wife 'swapped' him for another man behind his back (did I word that correctly? lol).
If the husband feels pressured to acquiresce, he's more likely to resist. Either give him time and leave it be or go with Uncle Phil's suggestion.

 What a devious plan, Uncle Phil! Hummm...might just work though. Of course if it doesn't work and this poster goes ahead and has sex with the wife's pal he may be risking the wrath of Khan from the lady's husband. I'd wear a bullet-proof vest just to be on the safe side.

Here's a suggestion: Get your wife to go and visit her friend's husband when she knows her friend is not home and attempt to seduce him. (her friend could be with you at the time!) Your wife could tell him she came to visit her friend. When she has seduced him she can text you and tell you it's ok to go ahead and have sex with her friend.
