A female , anonymous writes:

I am virgin and my bf is not. Recently, we have had several attempts for sex. The first time, it seemed that he could put it in about half way. I didn't bleed at all. Since then, all the times we attempted to have sex, I feel pain . We were not able to have sex since then. Can you advise me pls. It seems to me that my vagina is contracted...sex is becoming just painful.

Talk to your doctor, this is a common problem and you may get referred for counseling. It doesnt measn theres anything wrong with you.

Talk to your doctor. This sounds very much like a condition called vulvadinious (although I am not sure I am spelling it correctly). I am not a doctor, but a friend of mine was recently diagnosed, and the doctor told her it is not uncommon.

Of course, it could be just nerves, but to be safe I would at least mention to the doctor.

Try and make sure you are relaxed, a problem could be that you are clenching with nerves or excitment without realising. Also Make sure there is foreplay as this will help releave some tenchion and make you feel more relaxed and ready. Then ask him to go slowly and as you have not yet have full intercores I'm afriad it will hurt, but that should eventually ease.

This problem could be you feeling unready or guilty or nervous about sex. You should make sure that you yourself are ready not just your bf. Your first time is for you. It should be a good experience and you should feel completely comfortable with it.

Also there is a possibility that there is something medically wrong. Nothing to worry about, as it is not for sure, but if the problem persists it might be an idea, just to be on the safe side, to visit your GP.

Take care.
