I just wanted to update what I wrote in here last week. I don't know how many of you will recognize this, but I'm the guy who wanted to propose to his girlfriend "Harry Potter-style".

I took her to the HP Expo in Chicago Tuesday night and right after we sat down at our seats for the Omnimax showing of Half-Blood Prince, I got down on one knee and proposed to her. And I did use a little plastic snitch to put her ring in.

And anyhow, she said yes and we've already set a date. 15 July 2011 at noon. Just 12 hours before Deathly Hallows Part 2 premieres. Thanks again to everyone who gave me advice on this whole thing! It helped a lot!

=D

Ah, lol, thank you very much, Tisha-1! We've had the names for our children in the process for a while now, actually, lol. Daniel Rupert Matthew for a boy and Emma Evanna Bonnie for a girl. If we have two of one gender, we'll get into character names. =]

Thanks again!

Tisha-1 agony auntHey! Congratulations! Well done! Of course we all expect to be invited to the wedding....

Just kidding.

We LOVE good news like this here. Awesome!

So have you started picking out the children's names? [Sorry, couldn't resist. That seems to be the next thing that happens to people who announce they are getting married!]

And being an agony aunt, I cannot resist giving advice. Here it is: remember that you are in this together, that you are a team and that humor, patience and listening skills will be your best tools for success.

Long and happy life together!
