Jmo agony auntYou could use a cream like Nair or something (I don't know if they have Nair where you live but I'm sure there is some sort of equivalent if they don't). It's pretty quick, it's cheap and painless and you can do your legs and bikini area at the same time. A few caveats: make sure you test an area first and that you are clean, as some people with sensitive skin get reactions. Also be very careful around your bikini area because you don't really want to get that stuff on the sensitive parts of your vagina. Additionally, make sure you don't leave it on too long or you'll get red and blotchy, wishing you had hair down there instead. Hope this helps.

ok the best thing you can do is go to a beauty salon or tanning salon and you will find the offer various waxing. for you as you are so young, i would only say to get the bikini wax done. it will sort out your embarrassing issues at swimming. it is very simple and quick. sure it might sting a little, but it's nothing that bad. guy's just can't take pain, so the thought of a wax down there to them is like giving birth.lol.

shaving will just make the hair thicker and when you shave 1 bit, another bit comes to it's funeral. so wax away! if you feel comfortable doing it yourself buy a kit from a shop, if not go get it done by a pro.

goodcharlotte4life agony auntwell i'm 14 and i shave mine but they say that the more you shave it, it will just grow back thicker. mine isn't that bad though, does it run in the family to have a lot of hair down there? there is waxing but that would really hurt, i had my eyebrows waxed and that was pretty painful, think about it being done down there! maybe you should see if there is some hair remover cream stuff and make sure you can put it down there without harming yourself. talk to your parents maybe or someone that can take you to the store and look for something.

A reader, anonymous, writes (2 January 2009):

The only way to get rid of it completely is by electrolysis, and that could work out quite expensive.

However, the more you shave, the thicker it will get - up to a point.

Waxing is another alternative, but the thought of having that done is enough to make me wince and my eyes to water. You are what you are, your DNA has been passed down to you by your parents and there's little you can do other than to keep shaving or whatever, or to leave things as they are. If you start to get hairy nipples or hair growth on your back, that would be the time to take action.
