 I definitely wouldn't make out with you Dad around. The pressure of trying to hide it is no fun, and especially no fun if you're inexperienced!! Not to mention, if your Dad finds you sneaking around to make out, he may lose trust in you and your relationships will become more difficult to maintain.
As for not knowing how to make out, that's one of those things that you just figure out how to do as you experience it. Everyone has to figure it out by themselves. All I can really say is to kiss him and then just continue to. You'll get more into it, you'll see. If you need a little practice, watch a chick flick with kissing and then practice on your hand. It's not perfect, but it does the trick!

 dont do it with your dad there. you dont want your first experience of kissing your boyrffriend to be while trying to hide it (unsuccessfully i would think) from your dad :) and as to the how part, I dont have any specific tips, though im sure someone else will, just do what feels right :)
