I'm a bit depressed over a recent breakup looking for the best tips to move on. I kind of have been talking to a few girls, is it ok if I'm not over my ex completely?

Also, what are somegood movies to watch after a long term relationship break up? I'm depressed.

Break ups are always hard and painful! I suggest you go out often and have a good time, that way you will get your mind off your ex, make sure that all contact with your ex is ended completely ! Keep oin mind that everything happens for a reason.

I don't think that talking to other chicks ad getting yourself involved with someone else is a very good idea, get over your ex first!

Watch good comedies: Hangover , Due date, any movie that has made you really laugh over the years!!

Another thing , try not be alone for a couple of days! Best of luck xx

shabby-chic agony auntHi,

It is completely normal to feel this way and there are many people in the same boat as you, the key is how you deal with the break up.

The best advice I can offer you is to re discover hobbies or things that you enjoy doing and in time your heart will heal. Get a couple of friends together and go out, socialize, meet new people. You have your whole life ahead of you.

If you feel as if you're on a path to depression, I would recommend seeking counseling now and not leaving it till later. This allows you to address your feelings in a non judgmental, and confidential setting.

P.S; unfortunately, I am unable to recommend any movies, but I advise steering clear of sad movies as this may make you feel even worse. Rather, watch a comedy, have a good laugh, this elevates your mood. There are loads of ladies out there and you certainly wont find them by spending your days on your sofa.

Regards,
