writes:My friends are adament that I'm not 5'7'', even though countless members of my family have measured me, my teacher has measured me, and all have said I'm 5'7''.I'm the tallest out of my friends, yet they disagree that I'm taller by 4 inches, yet refuse to contemplate that they might be taller.It's really annoying, as they are getting everyone to say it, and it's making me feel silly.What should I do?x

Yeah my friends used to do the same to me as well, it's silly really. I was 5"7 but they would say i was 5"10 this used to really get to me, i was taller then everyone else. They just want a reaction, instead just smile and agree. i love being tall, so many advantages!

This is one of those things that qualifies as a really silly pet peeve.
If you've been measured, prodded, and poked to your satisfaction and the verdict of non-partisan judges is that you're 5'7" then you are.
And your friends are probably just having a great time yanking your chain watching you get all upset over something so minor. Perhaps if you stopped making a big deal out of it, they'll stop annoying you.
