The guy I like is in a class I help teach. Is it ok to pursue him once the class is over?

Okay, so this isn't the typical student-teacher question but I thought I'd ask and see what happens.

I help teach a vocational course for adults that will run for the next two months or so. I find myself very attracted to one of my students. I know he's single, and I think my feelings may be reciprocated. We have a lot in common, which is rare for me to find. I have a pretty specific set of unusual interests and I don't often meet people who are into ALL of the same things. I would hate to just walk away from this one.

I know it would not be appropriate to ask this guy out while I am still his instructor. My question is, how long after the class has ended should I wait before saying/doing anything?

We are both adults, if that helps. I'm 21 and he's late twenties.

Thanks for any advice :)

I would leave it for a few weeks after he has left. You don't want to get into any trouble. Other than that, good luck.
