well, you havent mentioned why you split after that week. Maybe he got scared? Some boys do, the thought of him actually truly liking a girl gives him a flash-back to the first ever game he played of "spin the bottle!" You just have to be patient.
He might have a girlfriend, he might not. If he asks you out, he's either dumping his girlfriend for you, or realised you're the one he wants. I'm afraid you'll just have to play it by ear.
