get a daily routine: facewash, toner, moisturiser, do this everyday.

weekly: use a good face scrub - soap and glory scrub your nose in it

make up:

i would advise spending the most money on your foundation or tinted moisturiser like £15 to £20 it should last you quite a while and be worth it because cheap foundation makes your skin worse, i personally like jemma kidd and benefit for the more expensive ones.

this can be applied with your clean fingers

but for powder natural collection is amazing and is only £1.99

this can either be applied by a pad (like the ones supplied in the more expensive powders - have a look in powders like bourjois/loreal) or a powder brush - i use the one by bourjois and love it but its not essential.

im not sure about the mineral make up, maybe ask the boots pharmacist or just anyone working in the make up dept in boots, theyre always happy to help and lovely

i wouldnt use blusher as youve said you have a pink undertone

as for concealer, i dont use it as i feel it highlights the blemishes but if your foundation is good it should cover it, if not then try to match the colour of the foundation/concealer perfectly, and make sure that the concealer rubs into the skin or it can just look scaly.

you can also pick up fairly cheap mascara and eyeliner from brands like rimmel, natural collection 2true (superdrug)etc

only other brushes you may need is eyeshadows, but again i find the tips of fingers are more effective. i had a few make up sessions when i was about 13/14 with brands like benefit and mac and this was how i was tought to do this.

why not go to a big department store like house of frasier/selfridges on oxford street and get a make over. theyre usually free if you promise to spend £10 at their counter and theyll be happy to help with any worries you have. Ask questions!

hope i was of help to you and let us know how you get on, keely.

good luck!

sugar_sugar agony auntFirstly look at the skincare you're using before you think about the make up to cover up your skincare issues. If your skin is rather bad then you should see a dermatologist.

Using a gentle cleanser as well as moisturiser for your skin type is a must, if you're not already using a spot treatment benzac is supposed to be good but could be too harsh for some.

I hear mineral make up can be quite drying so if your skin is already on the drier side that might be one to avoid?

I have recently discovered an awesome product Megan Gales invisble zinc tinted moisturiser - best tinted moisturiser I have ever used - so something like that could be the trick - protecting you skin and covering up your blemishes at the same time.

I use a foundation brush to apply my liquid foundation - gives a much more natural finish (will never go back to sponges now)

Is an EXCELLENT source of information for skincare and make up issues, the best source I have ever found to be honest, so I really advise you check it out, the girls there know their business!

baybee-x-sparkii agony auntokay i wouldnt use a foundation because that can clog up the skin even further, try using just a concealer or a cover up stick. i would recommend that you try something that does everything you want.I personally use an avon product in the clearskin range and I can find this out and email it to youif u want (:

if you were definetelyset on foundation i would guess at something pale, you can get mineral foundation however this is rather expensive. you can use a special brush however a sponge works just fine (:

any more help i can give you, just email :)
