Might seem dumb as I don't want to get pregnant, but contraceptive nurse said its the pill that stops the pregnancy. All okay in STD dept, so...Anyways, boyfriend finished in me last 3x. A week after first time, I have now got bad abdominal pains which feel like trapped wind, with a sharp pain on right side, which makes me think my body's still ovulating, although i have never experienced this before, ever. I was in absolute agony yesterday. I just really want to know what's going on? Is my mind playing tricks on me (a pregnancy scare/stress etc has made my period 2 weeks late before, I was convinced I was pregnant)? I am so stressed! I have only taken pills late twice in first pack and NEVER missed any.

 Firstly dont panic! easier said than done i know but seriosul;y we have all been there and worrying will make things worse. Womens bodies can olay tricks with the mind it's easy to get carried away and think the worse when every cycle and its sytempms could be different every month for some women.
As you may still be young it can take years for cycles even when on the pill to settle and you may find some months you get cramps mid cycle when you are ovulating. Also stress can make you ovulate late so this can make your period late this is not common knowledge its this that leads to a late period.
Why dont you have a chat with your nurse or at a clinic and see what other brands are available to take i know some can give people crazy side effects and not necessarily straight away.
When you are due to come on i would take a pregnancy test if you think it will settle your mind but as you say you missed no pills this time around right? well your chances of pregnancy are so low i think you need to worry about the stress side of things foremost.
