Spotting in between periods, should I worry?

Hey :) This isn't really a relationship question, i'm just looking for some advice. For the last couple of months i've had 'spotting', as in bleeding when you're not on your period. I know its nothing to worry about or anything, but how much is a 'spot' supposed to be? I usually get way more than that - do i need to worry? Thanks everyone x
