writes:hey, so i'm kinda of debating on if i like this guy or not. he's pretty much my type; he's tall, funny, cute, and nice. we flirt all the time and it always seems like were never serious. he always says stuff like- i like you, or your the best girlfriend ever (but were not going out),but hes kidding.i do the same as well, but im always kidding too. every time he sees me in the hallways he always leaves his group to walk with me. the only thing i think that is holding us back is that hes mormon, which really doesn't matter, but his parents won't let him date until he's sixteen. all his friends that we hang out with tell me that he likes me and what-not, and all the girls we hang out with keep telling me that hes gonna ask me out when he turns 16. i dont really know what to do/feel. any advice??

Can I ask how old you are now? Why can't you just be friends until he turns 16 and then you can become official? Or talk to him and tell him you'd be interested in going out with him, but understand he needs to wait until 16 for permission to date.
You need to respect his religion/family's wishes. If you really like him though, there is nothing stopping you from remaining good friends like you are now, and when he turns 16 then you can consider becoming a more official couple. As long as you know from him directly that he likes you, then it will work out in time :)

reader, anonymous, writes (21 November 2011): ok so i forgot to mention that ive noticed that he touches/holds my hand alot. not so much that he holds my hand in public, but when were at a freinds house we do. hes always playing with my hair or taking my backpack so i'll go after him. i also noticed that after school friday he was in a group of about 7 girls, then left them to walk with me. does this possibly means he likes me? but, he always obsesses over talking about this one girl that he really likes. me and my freind don't really think he likes her that much and could just be a cover-up for another girl. please, any advice? im soooo confused!!!
