A age 30-35, * writes:

I first met this boy (for this story's purpose I'll call him Will) when we both went on a school trip. Will is 2 years younger than me. On the trip we were always together and flirting so so so much. All the people we knew on the trip said we should go out. We never talked about it to each other but did to our friends and from what Will's friends told me he liked me a lot.

The problem is about a week before we went away his girlfriend left him. I knew he still liked her but he was always sayin to me that he would keep an open mind about other people. Also I don't know if the age gap is a problem or not. He isn't the type that just flirts with anyone all the time, so I think he does like me, maybe???

We kissed when playing truth or dare but I don't know if that meant anything to him. We played a lot of truth or dare with friends and he would never complete any of the dares that included touching or kissing, etc, unless it was to do with me! By the end of the trip about a week later he still hadn't asked me out so his best friend got annoyed with him and told Will to get over his ex and get a spine and ask me out.

During the weeks after we've gone out to the cinema and stuff a lot but never in a 'date' sort of way.

There was someone else my own age I liked before I met Will but I didn't like him as much. Should I try and get over Will??

Or should I wait for him to get over his ex???

[MOD NOTE - The poster is 15, so the boy in question will be 13]

i dont think you should go out with him. i know people say age is nothing but a number but 13 is a little bit young.

it does seem that he likes you but he is only just getting into girls by the sound of it i guarentee any boy would leap at the chance of touching or kissing any girl.

i think you should leave a open mind but maybe concentrate a little bit more on the boy you liked before.
