A male reader, CaringGuy United Kingdom +, writes (27 June 2010):

No. There was no trust before, so there won't be any now. All those problems will still be there. He won't have suddenly changed and neither will you. You two broke up for a reason. You dumped him for a reason. There was no trust. You have done the right thing by breaking up. Don't go back, or you'll just end up back here.

Wise Woman of the Forest agony auntYou're still only young and I think you should shoot for someone your own age. If there was no trust in the relationship, then is there any point in getting him back? Remember the reasons you broke up with him and remember you're at a young influential age. Also after a few weeks, you start to show signs of withdrawal, like a smoker having quit, which I know sounds silly but still. Ask yourself if you could trust him and if not, there's no point in a the relationship.
