Okay so I'be been going out with this guy for a while and things are great we both like talking to each other and we get along fine. He's around my age which is nice but.. there's one thing. I havnt told my parents especially my dad.. we're waiting to see how things go before we think we should tell our parents and for him to talk to mine before next year cause he'll 18 and I'd be 16. So.. I'm not sure if i want to tell my mom cause our relationship hasn't been what it used to be and I've kind of stopped telling her things cause she's always stressed out and I don't want to add onto that... Usually i can figure things out pretty quick cause of things I've been through but this isn't one of them..

The Realist agony auntTell you parents as soon as possible. I started dating a girl who is 17 and met her parents right away to show them that I am a good guy.

If you try to hide this guy it won't matter if he is good to you or not, they won't be happy with the situation. If he is up front with them and shows that he wants to meet them and show that he is a good guy them I am sure they wil accept that you two are dating. If he isn't willing to do this then I question why he is actually with you.
