Should I play it cool or forget the whole thing?

Hello all im new to this site and im really in need of some advice. I recently looked up a girl i dated when i was 15 and we fell hard for each other but the sad thing is she moved a short time later while we were together and then i seen her again when i was 18 by chance and we still felt the same for each other. Now it's been 14yrs and not for one day i have never forgot her and thought about her every chance i got and i have told her this in an email. She's excited i found her im single and she's single i dont know if fate or karma has given me another chance to do the right thing for us to be together or what but i wanted to know should i play it cool and see what happen's or just forget it?
