A female Philippines age 51-59, anonymous writes:

I had a whirlwind relationship with a friend at work. We both have our own domestic partners and kids. Our relationship started as really being good, even best friends. We had been always together at work to the point that we have developed certain routines. It's like we have this weird connection. Though I was not really keen at first, but he was the one who led me to be really close to him until our friendship eventually involved sex. Our relationship lasted a couple of months until he finally went abroad with his family. Though at first he still was calling and emailing, but after sometime it all suddenly stopped. I don't know if he's busy or he just really quit. But on my part, I still love him and miss him a lot and it is torture for me. He says he will be back after a year or two and he told me to wait for him, but I don't know if we will still be the way we were.

What should I do? Should I just forget him or should I just hold on. He said we will be buddies forever but now I don't even believe him anymore.
