Heyy!!

This question has nothing to do with sex/relationships/love, but I'm sure someone could help me!

I have a mole on my face and it's really obvious. I'm 14 and for my birthday next month my parents are letting me get it removed if I want.

However, I don't know whether to or not, because I feel like it's part of me =) and at the same time I want it gone!!!! Everyone notices though!

And also, do you know if it leaves a scar? And what is the best way to get it done?

hey

i had done the exact same thing the same time last year!i have a mole on my face and got it removed....and it grew back in about 2 months!if you want my honestly opinion then it really isent worth it!in my experience it is very painful and pointless.i had mine cut off which didnt work so i wouldnt try it!

BUT i admit that it has increased my self confidense but not very much

Dermatology these days is amazing. They can fire up a laser and leave very few marks. Whether or not to get rid of the mole is in part a cultural thing -- there are some cultures that think they're great. I had one taken off my nose and I'm eternally grateful that I did. Your call -- it depends on what culture you want to attract people from.
