 There's two schools of thought on this one: Go short and bob it, or stay long and get it sexy.
Seriously, its your hair. Just remember if you cut it you have to wait for it to grow back, unless you like wigs.

You can always visit one of those salons with the computer software that allows you to see what a style will look like on you before you change it. I think you can even download that software yourself.

 It's your hair :) If you want to do it then go for it. However, if they're ALL saying no to cut it, ask them why, or perhaps if they have any suggestions as to what you could do instead. It might be that they all realise it wouldn't suit you, and could just be trying to help.
