Should I ask out the guy I flirt with at work?

A female United States age 41-50, anonymous writes:

There's a guy at my part-time job that I flirt with a lot. He flirts back (a tickle here or joke there). We swapped numbers after I asked him if he wanted to grab a bite to eat after work (we didn't get a chance to go out but he said yes). We text sometimes and had a nice convo yesterday. I told him that I would like to see a late movie but the convo got off topic and then his daughter called so we didn't talk about it again. Soooo.....I'm off this weekend (first weekend in 6 months!) and would really like to go out with him. But he hasn't asked me out. I'm afraid that I may come off as "pushy" if I ask him out again, seeing as how I've already tried twice. I think he likes me but maybe he's just flirtatious?? We only work together about 4 hours on Saturday night so I don't know him that well, but he seems to go out of his way to see me (like coming to the job on his off day last weekend). Should I ask him out or just spend the weekend with my girlfriends and wait to see if he comes around??? Thanks!

ask him out, it can't hurt, grab a drink a quick one, or a movie? make it light and easy and fun.
