She's too scared to take the Pill and I'm afraid she might get pregnant. Are condoms enough contraception for us?

Maybe I'm being paranoid or something but it seems like a lot of people I went to school with have gotten their girlfriends pregnant at a young age.

I'm worried that that might happen with me and my girlfriend and we'll mess up our career prospects. We use condoms but she's too scared to take the pill and I fully respect that cuz there's a lot of side effects and that. But sometimes I worry that we might have a little accident and I know her family would go ballistic and she would be too scared to tell anyone - even a doctor.

It's putting me off having sex even though I love her with all my heart. But I'd stand by her no matter what decision she would make if it came to that, I just need some reassurance that condoms are enough for us. She refuses to try anything else for fear of harming her body and to a degree I can understand.

mystify agony auntthe condom is quite effective as it protects youfrom more than just the pill , but the pill itself isnt 100% the best thing is to use the condom and if it spits get the morning after pill if she agrees, of course that is up to her . if you are so very not ready for an "accident" then think about the many ways to please each other without penetration.

but there is always the coil, dosent work for some but isnt like a drug , and if you really want to be sure but respect her desicions then there is a small minor op you can have that can be reversed

well you can use the condoms they are ok but if you want abit more protection get her to go and buy a morning after pill the next day, at worse she might feel abit ill the tummy and abit tried ,but i also get really bad side effects from the pill and i refuse to go on it too but using the morning after pill i have never once had any side effects, and i know in most places she should be able to just go to a local chemist and talk to the pharmacists & they will give her some to take, usally cost between $20.00 and $50.00 depending on the country and chemist you visit.
