A male age 36-40, anonymous writes:

I started a new job about 3 months ago and met an attractive woman there. I found out through the other coworkers that she is single.

For the first month or so I was working under her supervision to learn the ropes and we came to find out that we have quite a bit in common with each other. She spent most of the time we were together giving hints of interest.. showing body language, touching when we were actually next to each other and so on..... She even told me at one point that I need to make more room in my closet for all of her shoes to fit.

Well, after putting up with this for a while I asked another coworker if she is overly friendly with everyone else. I was told that while she is nice that the seems to have taken a personal interest in me. Shortly after that she invited me on a short road trip with her, it was like a 3 hour trip. Over this time I thought things were going exceptionally well between us, there isnt too much we dont know about each others personal lives now. A few days later I asked her is she was interested in going out to a bar with a group of people and she said she can't because of prior plans with family.

I gave it about 2 weeks and decided to ask her again, this time I asked if she wanted to go see a movie that she kept going on about and how badly she wanted to see it. She took my number and said she would call and it sounded fun... she did not call... I saw her the next night at work when she came in and I decided not to say anything about it. Seemed like she had the same idea. I have now gotten the cold shoulder from her for the past three days.

I dont understand how she can go from showing so much interest to pretending that I'm not even in the same room. any advice???
