But she wants to keep a distance and she's worried what if we never get together because she's still with her bf but he just wont leave her but she WANTS to leave him. He is controlling her. Another thing is, we are both the same age and her parents are strict about her marriage age, she needs to get married around 23 or 24 but now we are only 18 Im scared I'll lose her forever. reader, anonymous, writes (26 October 2009): unless her situation is one in which she fears for her safety if she leaves him,then situation is probably that regardless of what problems they may have, she's still in love with him and she's not ready to let him go any time soon. i'm sorry to say it, but you are just a back up. so my advise would be; remain friends, don't get serious with her,keep looking elswhere, and certainly don't hold your breath. good luck.
