DUDE, it's easy! Find out where she lives and go to her hous. Then just ask her out. Works every time! Hope this works!

All you have to do is get her phone number from one of her friends. Treat her like a human being, not like an alien. Be very sweet and kind, not mean and demanding. Girls love it when guys complement them on their hair, how their perfume smells, and that kind of stuff. Good luck and remember, BE COOL!!!!!!!

Bev Conolly agony auntTV and media give kids the idea that there's something magical or difficult about asking someone out, but that's not true. You DON'T have to have "a line" (please don't use them; they're always hokey). You DON'T have to be popular or suave. You DON'T have to spend up big.

It's *easy*. You ask a girl out the same way you'd ask out a friend.

Go up to her before the end of the school year and say Hi. Introduce yourself if she doesn't already know your name. Say that you wanted to ask her if she'd like to get together over the Summer, because three months away is a long time, and you want to get to know her.

Hey hey...! Guess what? You've just asked her out!

There's a very good chance she'll say OK, so have in mind someplace where you can go together. It doesn't have to be a big deal. Swimming at your house, a walk together, movies, hanging at the mall, horseriding or whatever you like to do that's fun.

Good luck, and don't be shy! It's not hard, and it'll turn out fine.

A female reader, DrPsych United Kingdom +, writes (6 June 2006):

DrPsych agony auntJust ask the girl on a date as life is too short. She may refuse but at least you don't have to see her again. I sent a boy a valentines card when I was 15 under significant peer pressure, and he humiliated me in front of the whole class...I thought I would never see him again but I saw him in a club 10 years later and he asked me on a date, I refused and enjoyed that. My point is that you cannot know what will happen in the future so you have to act on the moment, and you are not doing anyone any harm by asking for a date. Whether she agrees to a date or not is not important, but you will learn something from the experience either way!
