I know this is really stupid but it is really getting to me. I am 15.

Recently the boy I fancy accidently saw my pubes. He described them as being ''bristly'' and said that was ''not a good look for a girl''. I got really embarrassed as I did not understand what he meant by the term. I like to trim my pubes to keep them ''under control'' but I don't know if he meant I trim them too much?

I'm really confused and worried as I don't know what ''look'' boys like. Can anyone offer me any advice on what Ii can do to make myself more attractive down below. It would be much apprieciated as I am worrying myself stupid !! x x

What you feel comfortable with is always the most attractive. Also different guys like different types of pubic hair looks.

Robyn1701 agony auntHi hun. What I think he means is that your hair is a little too short. Sometimes if the hair is cut short, it acts like mens stubble. The hair becomes coarse and wirey. If you grow your hair a little longer then it should become softer and act like normal head hair.

As for what boys like, I can imagine that it would be uncomfortable for a man during sex if the hair is rubbing against him and it's sharp.

Have a go at growing your hair a little. You can still keep it trimmed of course! But it should get softer.

When me and my boyfriend started going out (at 15) we started having sex a week later. Well of course my pubes where like they have always been - not shaved etc etc but I had never bothered before because I didn't tend to show people..

When we where talking my boyfriend asked me would I shave them all off because he'd like it better like that. I did this and it wasn't a problem because he was nice about it. In the last 6 months I've gotten him to shave his too lol, I like him better without hair down there also.

Don't worry about what he said because when you start having sex with your boyfriend [if/when you get one] he will tell you how he likes 'it' to look.

There is a newish trend which means that men and boys want women to remove all this hair. I think it is wierd that they want them to look like little children. May partner loves my fluff. You should not be concerned. If and when you decide to share yourself with someone make sure whoever it is loves you and makes you feel completely comfortable and secure. if this boy is so childish I would re-think and be very put off. You need to start setting yourself some qualities to look for in a male partner and surely this immaturity of his would be one on the NO list. Like people for being brilliant inside, notice when they are less than you need and move on. Say to yourself "I am beautiful as I am and I am proud of myself" or something like it over and over.
