It wont protect you from STDs, are you sure hes disease free, its best to use a condom.

i dont no much about the shot , but when u first start taking the pill it takes about a month before it actually strats to work , so if its anything like the pill then ur chances probably are higher but i wouldnt panic about it , if u do get pregnant you
