A female United States age 30-35, anonymous writes:

I'm 15(16 next month) and a virgin but a few days ago I noticed--umm, I'm not exactly sure what it is... like, red and white bumps/rash/or whatever located on the outer lips of my vagina. it is extremely itchy and I am worried about what it could be. my boyfriend has fingered me, but that's it. could it be from this? is it some sort of infection or STD? should I go see a doctor? or is it no big deal? what do you think?

thanks in advance!!

Yes, go and see the doctor, and if you can get past your embarrassment, ask him/her the questions about fingering, so that you can hopefully put your mind at rest.

Tremor agony auntIf you are a virgin then there's very little chance it could be an STD.

However, (and understand that I'm no doctor), there are probably a bunch of other nasty things it could be.

Definitely go and get it checked out, and for the time being, get the boyfriend to lay off the touchy feely - just in case.

MinisterWhite agony auntIt could be a couple things. But I would go to the doctor to be on the safe side and do not let him put his hands on you anymore. Save your body for marriage... Peace and Blessings...
