 You can have two different types of orgasms, clitoral and internal (what I call them).
With clitoral, your clit will be very sensitive. This is usually the easiest to achieve and you can have many of these during sex. It feels like a mini peak of nerve stimulation, and for a bit after wards you might now enjoy direct touching to the clit.
Internal climax comes when your G-spot is stimulated enough. For me, these are earthshaking, headboard breaking, back scratchingly awesome! You whole body tenses and you have this amazing release of energy all throughout, and it may take a minute or two before you can even let him move around some more and continue.
