I've been with my sweetie for almost 11 months!! I'm extrememly happy!!! So is he! Neither of us can drive. I can't drive because of my vision impairmant (Retinopathy of Prematurity). He can't because his parents don't want him to yet (they don't think he's mature enough yet.) I am 26 and he just turned 20 in October. We usually see each other once or twice a week, due to the fact we have to get rides (from our parents) to be able to see one another. Now, my step-dad's truck is having tire/alignment issues. It really sucks!!! I haven't seen him in a week (Last Saturday...November 7th). We text everyday, but its not the same. I'm worried that this will mess us up. (Until the truck gets fully repaired.) What should I do??!

Hi i'm realy sorry to hear of your problem.Having a personal empathy with RP i know what you must be going through. You never said if you were both working,or how far away from each other you both live. Depending on the distance between you, could he afford to come over on the bus or train, until your dads truck is mended.

You seem to think alot about each other,so i wouldn't worry to much,I think your sweetie will still be there for you, you could also try talking on the internet, and set up a web cam if the above is too expensive for you.

All the best for the future, and let me know how you get on.
