writes:Hello all! My B/f and I have been trying for a baby for about 5 months now. Everyone tells me to be patient which I am, I just want to make sure we are both able to make a baby. I went to the gyn about 7 months ago and she said that my uterus looks good. I have not had any STDs or STIs. I am planning to go again in april and I wonder if I should ask her to test anything specific, or settle for "Everything looks good." Any thoughts or advice? Thanks!!!!

A good old fashioned tip is when your finished having sex get you partner to put several pillows underneath your bottom so your lying with your bottom tilted upwards get comfy and lie like this for 5/10 min it allows every last trace of semen to travel inwards and better your chances at falling pregnant, you partner can caress you while you lie there keep yourself warm and let us all know when you become pregnant

Very good advice from Satindesire there. I would also like to add that it takes the average couple around 2 years to conceive so you have nothing to worry about as you have plenty of time left. I had trouble conceiving in my 30's and the doctor gave me a hysteropingogram which passes dye along the tubes and removes any blockages as it goes but that is miles down the line for a young couple like you. Good food, not too much alcohol, a lot of sex and it will all happen naturally. Good luck to both of you.

Eat healthy, take your multivitamins, and reduce your stress. If you smoke or drink alcohol, quit immediately. No illegal drugs, and no staying up too late and not sleeping!
This goes for BOTH of you.
Have sexual intercourse about every other day, if you can manage it. It takes about 24 hours for a man's semen to be up to it's hormonal best (and highest count) after his orgasm.
When a woman has an orgasm, her cervix actually 'dips' lower with the contractions into her vagina, into the pool of sperm that collects in the top of the vagina. So if you can, make sure HE COMES FIRST inside your vagina, then he brings -you- to orgasm.
Lay down with your feet up for about ten minutes or so, so that his sperm doesn't run immediately out.
Hope that helps!
