Go along to your branch of the bank and explain to them, but if you dont want it to get her into trouble then you are going to have to let the matter drop, but make sure your sister doesnt get her hands on anymore.

I couldnt reall understand you're post properly, some more details would be useful.
Report it as fraudulent to the bank or the police. You dont have to say it was your sister. Hopefully they'll be able to stop the cheque clearing.
