writes: It's very weird... my girlfriend (long distance by the way) has been bogged down with work... constantly! I feel like I'm now something she gets to when she can rather than being able to set aside time for me. I feel like we have grown apart significantly because I say all these cute things to her and she doesn't seem to appreciate it... I really don't understand what's going on. I love this girl... but I don't know what to do because I feel like it's just not going to end well... should I wait it out and see what happens when the work dies down, or should I end it now and tell her to come back when she finds time for me?

reader, anonymous, writes (8 December 2006): You are going to have to tell her straight, that you appreciate she has a lot on, but couldn't she make a bit more time for you as you feel neglected. Tell her you miss her like mad, why don't you arrange a nice weekend away together give you something both to look forward to? If she still doesn't seem to be interested then suggest that you have a break until she's ready to see you again. In the meantime date other girls and enjoy yourself.

Mate, your young and have loads of time to spare. Give her a few month to get her head into gear then if not.... You know what to do.. But do tell her you are worried about your relasionship.. see if that starts any balls rolling..
