 You know I caught my husband's eye, Jack Sparrow, and an ape last Halloween with my scantily clad angel's costume. I do have a suggestion if you are not entirely comfortable with the see through panties, I would buy black, red, whatever color lacey or ruffled boy shorts. My costume rode up in the front so I went to Fredrick's lingerie store and purchased a pair for 10 bucks, they were just as sexy.

 I think you should be truly flattered that he wants to see you in that. The fact that you aren't means his presentation of the idea was probably not the best. Women respond very positively to almost any request, if given in the proper tone (confident, leadership-style command, rather than demanding or begging for a favor). His eagerness, and attraction to you, may have caused him to slip into a less controlled, horndoggish state. Happens all the time.
You sound slightly uncomfortable, but not flat-out against it. So, ignore this next part if that's wrong: go for it! Slight discomfort is normal before doing something fun and memorable. Get really into character and have a blast. And make sure he's just as into the holiday as you are, in character, dressed up, and having a fine time with you.
