writes:Hello, I got together with my girlfriend about 2 weeks ago. We get along pretty well, but she doesn't seem to want to let other people know that we're together.Well, she has no problems with her close friends knowing, she feels somewhat uneasy with my friends knowing, and she really doesn't want people in school to know.She's a fairly shy girl, so I suppose this might be a reason... I'm not expecting her to tell the world (as I do not wish for that either), but she's terrified of people knowing.

I was in the same situation, I just asked her why and she told me it was because she doesnt want random people at school coming up to her and asking about it, because that can put a good bit on strain on a relationship expecialy considering your girlfriend is shy. So dont think that its a bad thing, she might just wnat your relationship to last. Hope this helps :D

 Maybe she is afraid that people will say something, however i do not know why. but being a girl myself i wouldn't want other people rather then my close friends knowing, i think cause everybody wants to know about your relationship and that might make things way too public, she probably wants something like this relationship, where its only her buisness. hope this helps... P.S maybe shes a private person?
