reader, anonymous, writes (27 January 2009): This isn't as clear cut as just dumping her in my opinion. There are a lot of factors to be considered before that conclusion can be reached.
I played spin the bottle loads when I was your age, granted I wouldn't play it if I had a girlfriend that wouldn't like me to, but most of the time I was with my girlfriend and she was playing it too. I found it a fun meaningless game, theres a buzz of anticipation in it which is exciting. Kinda like truth or dare. Self respect has nothing to do with it in my view, personally I played to satisfy curiousity, how good a kisser is she? will her lips be soft? will the bottle land on someone I don't want to kiss?
Some things you should consider, how serious your relationship with her is? Does she also see your relationship as serious? Did she know beforehand it would bother you? Do you think she did it on purpose to annoy you?
Spin the bottle is a harmless game that lots of people play,maybe she made a mistake, maybe she doesn't see it as a big deal. If she doesn't and you still wanna be with her I'd let it go, it by no means is a sign that she will cheat on you or go around kissing everyone she meets.
It's only a game of spin the bottle, it's almost impossible not to join in when people are playing it cos it's so much fun.

 i think you should end it with this girl. Clearly she doesnt respect or think very much of you if she can kiss 7 guys in 1 night and think its a "laugh"

 Well not only do people that play that game not have any respect for themselves but also if they are in a relationship then they clearly dont have any respect for their partner.If it was me I would be very upset and wouldnt stand for it. Your girlfriend should not have been playing that game out of respect for you and your relationship.I think it is time you ended this relationship, if she is willing to kiss 7 guys in one night then who knows how many more she will kiss at the next party she goes to?
