A female United Kingdom age 30-35, anonymous writes:

Hey.... I had a boyfriend over summer until a month or so ago. we both live in the same home town but we are at different uni's so it became really hard to make it work! It was clear it wasnt working but he broke up with me via facebook! Being he didnt have the decency to ring or wait til we were meeting up I was mad, and didnt reply of course.

His account still logs in me (i dont know his password it just does and he doesnt know it does). and out of curiousity i looked at his messages. And basically - my friend went home with him after a night out - to his house! and slept with him.

She met him literally a few times, when he was with me. Obviously neither of them have told me... and they dont know i know! so i cant say anything! Its my own fault for snooping i know.

But im mad at her, and not really shocked at him i spose as he is a coward and dont miss him. Any thoughts would be appreciated...

Ouch, what a way to find out. But the good thing is that you did. You do not need to let either of them know that you know :) You can be thankful for what has happened everytime something good happens to you that probably would not have been possible, had you and your ex stayed together. Let this thankful feeling replace the anger you have for your friend :)

The way you have handled the situation, such as not replying to the message on facebook, may eventually lead him to want you back. If that happens, it is up to you to decide whether or not you want him back. From the sounds of what you wrote, you won't. Congratulations, you've just entered the beginning of a happier time in your life :)

I will forget about the both of them. neither are trustworthy..with the epidemic diseases we are faced with today they can have each other. maybe they did you a favor by choosing each other..they are losers! we as women have to be more careful about the men as well as friends that we pick to be in our lives.. good luck
