A male United Kingdom age 41-50, anonymous writes:

I have been friends with this girl for nearly a year now and up untill recently we have been very close friends and I think a lot of her. I do not have any sexual feelings for her and I relly value her friend ship. But I had a big argument Sunday night with one of her friends which resulted in me being bared from the pub we were in at the time I stormed out and she ran out after me and we talked and parted okay. Since then I can not get in touch with her I was supposed to be having lunch with her tommorow but she is not returning any of my messages. I have sent her a text saying I will call her again in the morning. I do not want to keep on trying to get in touch with her as she may get upset or feel crowded I just really do not want to fall out with her and loose her friend ship I have told her this in the messages. What do I do?

TasteofIndia agony auntHey sweetness,

Give her a few days to cool down and then go over to her house with flowers or her favorite kind of cookies and tell her that you're really sorry. I'd also apologize to her FRIEND who you fought with. Even if you were right and she was wrong, be the bigger person and just go ahead and say you're sorry.

Tell your friend that you adore her and that you're sorry about everything and that you really want to hang out and talk.

I'll bet things will blow over soon, sweetness.

xxIndia
